Stella Layout

Here is the layout inspired by the CTMH postcard invitation.
Here's a closer look at the pages and the flowers cut using the cricut art philosophy cartridge!

All you need to reproduce this look is the stella paper pack (X7147B), dessert sand cardstock (1388), colonial white cardstock (1388), cocoa ink (Z2114), lagoon ink (Z2195), the cricut art philosophy cartridge and clear sparkles (Z1104). I used the friendship large and small stamp set for my titles.  You could use any alphabet.  Cutting instructions: tab along photo was cut at 1in on pg 58 of AP cartridge, butterflies cut at 1.5 and .75 in on pg 41, circles cut at 5, 3.5, 1.5, and .75 on pg 21, flowers cut at 3.5 on pg 68, and flourish cut at 2.5 on pg 60.  Thanks for looking.

Stella Card

This is a card I made for one of my gatherings recently.  I was inspired by the card on the CTMH postcard invitation for my creation.  Here is the postcard image.
And here is my card!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's post if you like the layout in the postcard as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Fishing Party Favors

Here we go again with the themed parties.  My oldest turned 7 on March 26th.  However, he delayed his party until tomorrow because he wanted a fishing party. Apparently fish don't bite until May.  Who knew?  This one was way easier to plan when compared to the Star Wars party or the Camping party.  It will be outside at a pond.  The grown ups are in charge of making sure the hooks only go in the fish!  Then we'll have pizza and oreo ice cream sandwich cake.  The recipe for the cake was found here.  So all I had to come up with was the favors and I just finished them.
A closer look at the tag front...
 and back.
Gummi worms in a fold and close sandwich bag.  The tag is cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge (pg 70, tag and shift, cut at 3 inches).  I used the footloose workshop stamp set for the fish and bubbles.  I love love love this set.  I am teaching a class using this workshop on June 20th, if you are interested, check out this link.  Then using the small friendship alphabet stamp, my 5yo son stamped all the names on them.  Tied them up with cocoa ribbon and the favors are complete.

Dotty for you card

The inspiration for this card came from fellow consultant Susie Rostad.  If you would like to see her original creation for a graduate, click here. Otherwise, here is what I came up with.  I used this card to congratulate my team members who achieved top sales in April.  The paper used for this card is the great Dotty for you paper pack available until May 31st for just $5 or even free.  Click here for more details on how to get your own.

Happy Mother's Day Everyone!!!

Sometimes you see a piece of artwork and it inspires you to create your own version and sometimes, it's just so beautiful, why change it at all.  Fellow consultant Gloria Rogers made the most beautiful card using the Dotty for You paper pack.  Check out her blog for a tutorial on the beautiful flower here.  Aside from changing the sentiment and adding the bling button, it is her creation.  I decided to make this card for my Moms.  Happy Mother's Day to All!  If you are interested in getting your hands on the Dotty For You paper pack for just $5 or even free, click here for more details.

Post it Holder Gifts

Sorry for the delay in posting, I was battling the stomach bug.  All is well now though.  This week was teacher appreciation week at my son's school and the last week of pre-school for my other son.  Another consultant made amazing post it note holders and so I tried my hand at it with the help of my bestie Tammy Johnson.  You may have recalled me mentioning her before, she is the one who helped me transform my office into a usable craft space, (although you wouldn't want to see it right now).  Here is what we came up with.  I will be honest they are not my favorite, but you'll get the idea.  I was thinking teacher...typeset paper, but I think the paper may be too busy for this craft.

All you need for this simple craft is a 4x6 acrylic frame, paper, stamps, embellishments, and a stack of post it notes.
