Even yucky photos can be made beautiful!

Now this an example of when the coloring in the photos just didn't turn out.  We were in the doctors office with their yellow walls and lighting...Yuck!  But the woman in the photo is Dr. Livingston (my OBGYN).  I wanted a photo with her and my son Graycen because she was his guardian angel.  I had gotten pre-eclampsia with all of my prior pregnancies.  I was showing increased protein in my urine which is the best indicator for this disorder and all of the other physicians were very lax about the condition, saying I should just go on bedrest until 39 weeks with no other monitoring.  I called Dr. Livingston at home because she was just finishing up her own maternity leave.  She listened diligently to what had transpired and got me in that week for an induction which was the best scenario for mom and baby.  So because this memory is so important to me, I had to find a way to make this yellow photo more beautiful.  I used all CTMH products on this layout.  You may be surprised to know I used the Mischief Level 2 paper pack (thought to be our Halloween paper pack) on this layout.  All of the fancifully cut paper pieces were done using the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  I paired the Mischief Paper with Sky Blue and used buttons (blue assortment).  So if your photos didn't turn out as great as you had hoped, don't be afraid to dress them up a little to preserve your memories.

  1. This is awesome! I love the cricut cartridge - have been using it more for 3D items and flowers but I'm now just starting to use it on my scrapbook pages! Great job here!
