Technique Week: Day 2 (Using Baker's Twine and Milepost Shapes)

Today I braved getting out the New baker's twine (Z1701).  I wasn't sure just how to use it, but I see it all the time in cards and other layouts, so it is a very popular embellishment.  It is actually super easy to use to...nothing to it.  I simply wrapped it around a piece of cardstock for this layout.  You can also use gluedots to fasten the ends to the back side of your layout instead of wrapping it all the way around.  I paired it with the milepost shapes (Z1464).  Love how it tuned out.  The patterned paper is not CTMH.  I was looking for a bright green to match the photos.  Let me know what you think.

  1. Cute baby. Great job with the twine. I see the Cruisin' WOTG guide was used, but love how you tweaked it and used colors to echo the little guy's shirt. :)
